Bethany Macdonald Tucker is a painter, collage artist, and printmaker. Graduating from The College of Fine Arts in Sydney, Australia Bethany now regularly exhibits in both solo and group shows in Sydney, regional NSW.
Bethany's focus is exploring the textures and shapes that underpin familiar domestic objects in Still Life arrangements and the relationships between the objects within the space. More recently, Bethany has applied this interest to exploring the mountains landscape after spending more and more time in the Blue Mountains in NSW and the surrounding areas. Collage is integral to this exploration allowing the work to be both painted and 'built' up in layers as she examines the relationships that are playing out on the painting surface.
